I'm a former college baseball pitcher who quit my job to become a professional poker player and try to make it in the ranks of professional baseball. Baseball didn't work out but poker is going strong. The best part about it is that I haven't had to sit in a cubicle since late 2007.

8 inches of snow, what to do? Build an igloo!
For some reason the blog posted them in reverse chronological order. So either scroll down and work your way up, or enjoy watching the clock tick back on my igloo building evening.
At one point we left to grab some dinner. Afterwards we came back to find that someone had tagged (grafitti) the inside of our igloo with red spray paint. We still put up another couple of levels while working on it for an hour before stopping for the night to take some pics. the Above pics are after we finished working.

updates
kind of gave up the grind for the last 8 days of december so I could enjoy the holidays with family. the variance had been a bitch for over two months and mentally I just didn't want to ruin the holidays dealing with that.
my wife and her family got me a ton of awesome christmas presents which I've been enjoying the last few days including an iphone, a kindle, and a nintendo Wii. They've been fun distractions away from the table and I'm going to get a ton of use out of all of them. She really out did herself this year in getting me Christmas stuff, and it's just another reminder about how great she is.
I've got some goals and more importantly some plans for how to attack poker in 2011, but I haven't decided if I'm going to post them on here. As to 2010 it was a successful year, and it goes to show you how blessed I am that I was fairly disappointed in my results considering how they turned out.
I also have to get my taxes in line this weekend which is a pain. I'm hoping my mediocre 4th qtr results will keep me from having to ship out too much, and I think April 15th is not going to hurt nearly as much this year as it did last.
next post will include my 2011 results. Hope everyone had a great holiday season and here's to a happy and productive new year.
cheers
